Symptom Landscape and Quality of Life in Cancer

Symptoms are often the earliest and most sensitive indicators of treatment burden. Our research characterizes the full symptom landscape experienced by early-stage breast cancer patients. We use validated PRO instruments to capture symptom severity and functional impact at high resolution over time.

Beyond describing symptoms, we focus on identifying early symptom changes that predict later outcomes—such as chronic toxicity, or sustained quality-of-life decline. By modeling symptom patterns over weeks and months, we aim to uncover distinct subtypes of symptom trajectories and determine which patients are most likely to experience persistent impairment.
