Johannes Kratz and Paola Betancur, MDs have been named recipients of a Full CoProjects Award for the UCSF Bakar Immunox Initiative 2023

Johannes R. Kratz, M.D. Associate Professor of Surgery, Program Director of the UCSF Thoracic Surgery Residency Program, Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at UCSF Health, Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Thoracic Surgery, and the Van Auken Endowed Chair in Thoracic Oncology and Paola Betancur,Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology have been named receipts of a Full CoProject Award for the Bakar Immunox Initiative CoProjects RFA 2023

The Bakar ImmunoX Initiative proposes the concept of CoProjects, a series of shared projects designed to integrate our community through common pipelines and data curation. ImmunoX CoProjects aim to build immune profiles for untapped streams of human diseases at UCSF. Each CoProject is investigator-led and takes advantage of world-class staff and technologies in the cutting-edge CoLabs space. Data is curated and stored in a university database and released to the larger UCSF community after a set embargo period.
